A disabled woman from Washington said that her dog is being help for ransom. Jennifer Thomas told a local news that a thieves stole her dog and are threatening to kill him if they don’t get a $1,000 and the drugs they want.
Jennifer said that she saw a man and a woman in her driveway just before she noticed her English bulldog named “Jaggar”, was missing. Since then, she’s received disturbing text messages from people claiming to have her dog. Jennifer also said that the people who took her dog knew that she was in a wheelchair, and she take prescription painkillers which the thieves demanded.
Despite being warned not to alert authorities, Jennifer has contacted Cowlitz County police for help.
Another dog saves lives. A family saved by their dog from being a victims of a burning house. Sunday morning at Shire Way near Lawrenceville, a house is on fire. A woman and her child were fast asleep when they woke to the sound of their dog barking.
When the woman got up to check on what was going on, she discovered her home was on fire. The family immediately get out of the house, and luckily one was injured, but there was extensive damage to the walls, attic and roof of the two-story wood frame home. Smoke alarms inside the house had not yet sounded because the majority of fire was on the outside and in the attic. Gwinnett County firefighters received the call around 4:20 a.m, and they took about 40mins to control the fire. The firefighters praised the family dog for saving the family.
