The can adapt to almost any situation, and are as comfortable in a room full of noisy children and dogs. They don’t usually panic at shows or in strange hotel rooms, and they adjust to other animals extremely well. And they are not happy if left alone for long periods of time. Their activity level is moderate and many have the weird uncatlike habit of sleeping flat on their back.
