Family dog kills Infant
December 20, 2010 at Houston in Caruso Forest in Northwest Harris Country, A three months old baby was mauled and killed by her family's pet dog.It happened Sunday afternoon when the mother left her daughter Janet in the swing while she had taken one of their dogs to the bathroom. While Alva is in the process of giving the dog a bath, she heard some barking from the room she had just left. Alva went into that room and didn't see a dog but found her only child on the floor, lifeless and bloodied. The infant's hands were mangled and head was crushed. They tried to revive her by bringing her to an area hospital but the baby didn't make it, she died an hour later.
The child's parents keep nine dogs including Rottweilers, Chows and large mixed-breeds that was kept in their backyard. Because of so many dogs, the authorities don't know exactly which of the animals was the dog that mauled the child. To determine which of the animals did that horrible deal, they took all of the animals to the Animal Control for further observation and investigation.
