Purina Cat Food Recall
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration and NestlĂ© Purina PetCare Company announced a recall of Purina One cat food because of a possible salmonella contamination. Last Saturday Nestle Purina PetCare Company (NPPC) issued a voluntary recall on a limited number of their “Purina One dry cat food” product.
The affected batches include: Purina One Vibrant Maturity 7+, 3.5 pounds, "Best by Date" of May 2012 and production code: 03341084. UPC: 17800 01885; code: 03351084. UPC: 17800 01885; code: 03341084. UPC: 17800 01887 and code: 03351084. UPC: 17800 01887.
Consumer are advised to discontinue use of these batches of cat food and seek help from a doctor or veterinarian if they or their pets show symptoms of the food cause illness. For more information of this recall or refunds you can visit Purina website or call toll-free at 1-800-982-6559.
