Dog swallows $20,000 diamond
A dog in Maryland swallows a $20K diamond. George Kaufmann, the dog owner and a owner of jewelery store happens to have a diamond dealer showing a 3-carat diamond when somehow the precious stone fell on the floor near the store owner's Golden retriever name Soli. Soli put the diamond on this mouth, the owner looked on the dog's mouth and there was the diamond and in a flash, he swallowed it.
Store co-owners Robert Rosin and George Kaufmann immediately called a vet, who could only offer them one piece of advice, they had no choice but to wait for it to come out. They wait for the next to days, but saw nothing. The diamond finally appeared on the third day, fully intact and fine. "It was not that pleasant. I followed him. I had to pick up his stuff. I went through the things. I can understand what it was like in the old Gold Rush because I felt like I had just hit pay dirt," Kaufman said.
