Magistrate fined over Dog poo
Looks like there's a lot of issue about dog poo these days. Another man who is a Magistrate has been given a two-year good behavior bond and a $7500 fine after an argument over dog feces turned violent. Raffaele Barberio failed to pick up his german shepherd’s droppings while walking in Brighton last March. He fought with a local couple after a dispute about picking up dog droppings, he tried to punch the male driver through an open window. They said that Barberio was “rude and dismissive”, then motioned as if he was going to throw the dog feces.
When the couple reported the Magistrate to local police, he went to the victim’s home used a key to scratch both sides of the victim’s car as a payback. The car cost more $9100 to repair and the incident was captured on a neighbour’s CCTV camera. Barberio resigned last month after serving as a magistrate for 25 years and also given a life of service to the community.
