Dog bites man's toe to save his life
A dog from Rockford, Michigan bites off his owners toe. Jerry Douthett the owner a Jack Russell terrier Kiko bit off a large chunk of his toe when he was passed out drunk. Jerry's wife Rosee who is a registered nurse said that she heard these screams coming from the bedroom, and he was yelling, 'My toe's gone, my toe's gone!
Then they rushed to hospital and surprisingly find out Mr Douthett was suffering from type two diabetes. In addition to the disease, his toe had been swollen and infected for several months before the dog bit him. The drinks sedated him enough that he fell asleep when he went home. Then Kiko smelled an infection in his owner's right big toe and bite it off. Its not impossible for a dog smell some infections since dogs have a sense of smell a trillion times stronger than humans.
He should be very careful now... Thanks to his dog for saving his life. His dog need some treat :)
