Police found Cat Marinating in car trunk
New York police find live cat marinating in car trunk. The man from Buffalo US marinated his live cat in a mixture of crushed red peppers and chili and planned to cook it. 51-year-old Gary Korkuc, the owner of the cat arrested on one count of cruelty to animals and was also charged with passing a stop sign and failure to signal.
Police say officers heard the cat meowing when they stopped Gary Korkuc of Cheektowaga to ticket him for running a stop sign Sunday night. Then they checked the trunk and found 4-year-old cat named Navarro in a cage, his fur covered with oil, crushed red peppers and chili peppers. Gary said he was going to cook the cat because he was ill-tempered. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) have cleaned Navarro and put him up for adoption.
