Stewie: World's Longest Cat
You might heard about the world's tallest dog, but now a feline getting attention for being the world's longest Cat. Stewie, a 5-year-old Maine Coon cat who lives with his family in Reno, Nev., was certified by Guinness World Records as the world's longest domestic cat.
Stewie measures 48 ½-inches from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail. The previous record-holder was also a Maine coon that stretched 48 inches. Stewie's owners, Robin Hendrickson and Erik Brandsness, said they decided to go for the record after encountering so many people who amazed at Stewie's size."Everyone says, 'Wow what a long cat!". Ms Hendrickson said maine coon are known as the "gentle giants" of the cat world.
